Responsibilities

The Project Manager, Innovation is responsible for driving cross-functional projects with a focus on innovation and new product development. The Project Manager will help drive Ideal Image’s long and short-term strategic objectives, identify opportunities and efficiencies, and work collaboratively with internal departments and external partners to support growth in new services and channels. He/She will engage with all levels of the organization, including executive leadership, to ensure key stakeholders are aligned, scope is defined, timeline is established, and deliverables are clearly identified.  He/She will keep the project team well-informed of status, constraints, dependencies, and proactively identify and help mitigate risks. The Project Manager can translate vision and concepts into executable tactics while “seeing the forest through the trees”. He/She is a self-starter, analytical in nature, a team player, and an advocate for the customer and our front-line field associates, keeping them top of mind in everything we do.

 

The Project Manager will:

  • Lead commercialization of new services, programs and capabilities to market
  • Work in conjunction with internal business partners (including Operations, Marketing, Finance, IT, etc.) and external vendors to scope, plan & execute against the company’s strategic objectives
  • Drive direction and momentum of multiple small to large-scale projects from cradle to grave
  • Translate data into insights to evaluate performance and share key learnings/recommendations with executive team
  • Partner with the Project Management team to collaborate, manage shared resources, prioritize projects & govern change
  • Identify areas of opportunity across the organization & continuously improve existing processes and procedures
  • Build a culture of operational excellence and KPIs driven by the Ideal Image strategy, and ensure processes, systems, and tools are in place to enable field be successful
  • Ability to communicate change, opportunities and challenges top-down and bottom-up between home office and the field
  • Distribute weekly (or as needed) status reports of project status, risks, constraints or dependencies to key stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education/Training:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing or related field.
  • CAPM, PMP or Six Sigma certification preferred.

Experience:

·     Minimum 3 years experience managing projects or accounts

Technical or Administrative Knowledge:

  •   Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint required.

Special Skills and Abilities and/or:

 

  • Excellent written & verbal communication.
  • Expertise in organization, multi-tasking and prioritization.
  • Ability to consolidate, validate, and analyze data and summarize findings into digestible insights that drive action
