    Responsibilities

    The Construction Coordinator involves assisting Project Managers in the daily operation of administrating multiple construction projects across the US and Canada.  The position is office based in Tampa with regular field visits. Projects range in cost from $25,000 to $2,000,000/+.

     

    Construction Coordinator duties include:

    • Create and manage construction tasks in TeamGantt (PM software system)
    • Partner with multiple PM’s to align on construction schedules and timelines
    • Daily progress and monitoring of tasks and holding team members accountable for hitting deadlines
    • Create and maintain tracking reports
    • Manage project budgets and change requests
    • Develop communication cadence with PM’s to escalate changes to schedules
    • Work closely across different cross-functional departments  
    • Attend meetings, provide status updates, and maintain meeting notes
    • Adhere to deadlines
    • Aid in process improvements

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years in a corporate project management or project coordinator position
    • 3+ years experience with construction project management or administration
    • Previous experience with vendor management and invoicing
    • Previous experience working with franchisees or customer facing projects
    • Must have outstanding attention to detail and time management skills
    • Able to use MS Office and other computer systems efficiently
    • Strong communication skills required
