  • Responsibilities

    This position will be tasked with providing direct and ongoing sales fulfillment/support and/or training to our Lead Sales Consultants, Center Managers, and Guest Services Consultants. The Field Sales Specialist will be an integral part of the team, solely focused on the sales amplification/fulfillment, educating, and ramping up the entire Center sales team. Responsibilities include executing against all sales process/ programs and initiatives implemented from the Home Office, as well as identifying training needs on an individual level.

    The Field Sales Specialist must understand Ideal Image’s overall company goals and objectives to suggest and execute upon ideas to achieve these through sales training based on KPI achievement and regional/market based requests. This position requires the combination of developing and executing sales specific initiatives, while also identifying and coordinating any necessary training resources beyond initial scope of assessment.

    The Field Sales Specialist will also: 

    • Fulfill sales needs specific to the center (i.e. – perform/consultative selling) and boost sales in tandem with current Sales Consultant
    • Support and drive all members of the Center Associate Sales team to achieve and exceed their personal sales goals includes onboarding and ongoing training needs
    • Identify training needs through the process of observing sales process first hand via live and recorded calls, analysis of sales results reports/KPIs, and through detailed communication with sales leadership
    • Develop individual results by maintaining critical documentation and resources (sales playbooks, etc.), providing one-on-one coaching, and conduct ongoing group training sessions
    • Focus on leveling up the overall Center Associate Sales team in key areas including: consultative selling, overcoming objections, negotiations, active listening, among others
    • Improve training effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques, making support readily available, and provides continuous training following one-time initiatives (i.e. speaker, one-day session)
    • Continuously improve own level of knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
    • Contribute to the design of quality sales initiatives  to maximizes sales representative effectiveness
    • Contribute to the development of individual and team training plans to ensure ongoing improvement and growth
    • Evaluation of strengths and weaknesses on an individual level to identify and support training needs
    • Report on training program effectiveness and provide training recommendations to ensure program iterative improvement
    • Maintain updated curriculum documentation and training records

    Qualifications

    • Extensive travel required throughout US and Canada
    • 2+ years in a formal consultative sales focused role
    • Proven track record of success in a complex, consultative individual contributor sales role prior
    • Extensive knowledge of learning principles and modern selling techniques
    • Experience with sales database/ (i.e. Salesforce)
    • Understanding of sales process, preferably with customer facing experience
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Strong organizational and team management skills
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Education, or relevant field preferred
    • Additional sales training certifications are a plus
