Ideal Image, based in Tampa Florida, is the largest US retail provider of non-surgical cosmetic procedures with 130 centers across North America.  The company is private-equity backed and has aggressive plans to expand the business by adding more centers and increasing the breadth and depth of services within each center.

 

The company offers a broad range of services including laser hair removal, CoolSculpting, wrinkle reduction and other services that improve physical appearance to enhance self-image and build self-confidence. All services are FDA-cleared/approved and rigorously tested at the company’s R&D center; the services in each center are performed by registered nurses or other medically trained professionals.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a New Store Opening Project Manager to be responsible for support, coordination, and implementation of various actions in relation to new location openings across the US and Canada. This person will engage with all levels of the organization to provide oversight and performance data for continuous improvement and business scalability. They will also provide ongoing reporting and critical task updates to ensure on-time, on budget, and on-plan execution of multiple new location opening projects.

 

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Acting as trusted advisor to the COO and other members of the operations team in developing the function’s strategy and operating plan
  • Full cycle implementation of new location opening processes and plan execution.
  • Continuous improvement of existing process and procedure
  • Aligning cross-functional work teams to achieve real estate and operational growth strategy
  • Identifying operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes to keep our centers as efficient as possible
  • Building a culture of operational excellence and KPIs driven by the Ideal Image strategy
  • Ensuring processes, systems, tools and organization are in place to enable new location meet KPIs
  • Working with field management to measure success of initiatives
  • Coordinate implementation of effective execution of new location plans and all customer facing areas of the organization, as well as partnering with various functional groups
  • Ensuring each new store location completes all New Store Opening (NSO) objectives as identified on all checklists, pulse checks and field audits; documenting all activities as outlined
  • Ensuring the store team understands the guidelines for completing all required training
  • Proactively identify issues with sites, team members, processes and provides feedback in a positive professional manner
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years project management experience
  • 2-5 years managing new store openings for 12 – 25 + locations nationwide
  • Ability to travel 80% - 90% of the time 
  • PMP or similar certification preferred
  • Experience with construction, real estate and various functions associated with new location openings in a retail/service chain.
  • Tactical experience multi-faceted projects through multiple work groups.
  • Experience working with cross functional teams in a retail environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills are required
  • Excellent time management, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail a fast-paced environment is essential to success
  • Handle and diffuse conflict and stressful situations professionally and collaboratively
  • Proactive, problem solver with a “can do” attitude
